We started this journey together after our personal collection of gems and minerals had taken over our house. We are passionate about finding crystals and gemstones that are unique while balancing those that are more abundant and affordable so that everyone can enjoy and appreciate a fascinating piece of our earth.
We enjoy learning about how a particular crystal was formed and seek to understand its history. It is incredible to know that a piece of aquamarine could be millions of years old because beryl is a mineral that requires a very slow cooling period compared to other crystal formations. A quartz crystal can be identified as "left handed" or "right handed" depending on which direction the tetrahedra had rotated on the helix and is shown by the positioning of the facet window. These geometric and molecular curiosities keep our minds young and our hearts full of passion.
